She has been featured on programs for PBS, NBC, and NPR, seen on the cover of Latina Style Magazine, and in COSMOPOLITAN en Español and has played in 118 countries including South Africa, Ireland, Spain, Brazil, Bali, India, Peru, Greece, featuring flutes from her collection of over 100 gathered from concert tours. Her music video was aired on UNIVISION in 30 countries. She has performed as soloist with orchestras in Russia, Chile, Vermont, New York, Wisconsin, California, Texas, and Montana, in such halls as in Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center, and other prominent stages with such artists as Mikhail Baryshnikov, Placido Domingo, and Glenn Close.

Luca had his training as Principal Flute in the Orchestra Masterclasses of the Gustav Mahler Academy, held at “Ferrara Musica” in 2003 and 2005 under the direction of Thomas Brandis and Wolfram Christ.

Flautista - Compositoreè autore di composizioni orchestrali, cameristiche e di musica leggera. Ha preso parte, come flauto solista e compositore di svariate produzioni teatrali tra cui “L’Apologia di Socrate” (Carlo Rivolta), “La terra di Scheria” (Francesco Brancatella); “Divertissemant” su “Cavalleria rusticana”, “La vendetta di Azucena”. Nel 2010 ha pubblica il suo primo romanzo Il Brigante onesto, da cui in seguito sarà tratta l’omonima opera teatrale. È direttore stabile dell’orchestra da camera “Gruppo Filarmonico Calabrese”.

FLUTE SOLOISTTito has been awarded prizes in a number of national and international contests and has played alongside renowned concert performers: Claudio Marcotulli, Guido Corti, Alessio Allegrini, Janos Balint, Mikhail Pethukov, Cesare Chiacchiaretta, Dimitri Ashkenazy, and many more. Ciccarese has gained abundant recognition both from the public and from reviewers, but it is mainly in most recent years that he has reached his most prestigious objectives: after his appearance at the Carnegie Hall in New York, in 2012, he has played as a soloist accompanied by the Russian Chamber Orchestra (Kursk Festival) and has performed J.S. Bach’s Musical Offering in its entirety accompanied by first-rate Russian musicians at the White Hall of the “Tschaikowsky” Conservatory in Moscow.

Ha partecipato a numerosi festival internazionali, trasmissioni televisive e lavori discografici. Ha realizzato la nuova testata bi timbrica per flauto traverso: “Zi flute by parisi”, prodotta e commercializzata dalla “Flauti Briccialdi Italia”
She has been rewarded in contests with “Special Award” in “British Flute Society Young Artist Competition” and in “Harold Clark Woodwind Competition” and with the quintet Sideris the special award and the second award of the Festival in “On Wings Festival“ in Groningen. Almudena has been invited to Festivals like “Klangspuren Festival” in Austria, “British Flute Society Festival” in London, in “CAMAC Paris Harp Festival”, “Beethoven Festival“ in Bonn, “Steal and space Festival” in Royal Observatory of London, the Festival “Jonh Cage Centenial” in English National Opera or the “Festival of Pedraza Noche of the sails” to mention some. Her orchestral formation realizes with London Mahler Orchestra, London Youth Symphony Orchestra, BCN216, Janá?ek Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, ISSO – International Students Symphony Orchestra, Academy of the Band City of Granada. As musician she has touched the rooms South Bank Center, the English National Opera Colliseum, the Embassy of Venezuela, the Auditorium of Catalonia, the Auditorium Manuel de Falla, the Maria Cristina Salts, the Comedy Theater of Clermond-Ferrand, the Cervantes Theater, the Echegaray Theater, etc.

la Società Italiana Autori ed Editori ( S.I.A.E ) avendo all’attivo numerose trascrizioni e brani originali per flauto. Intesa è l’attività concertistica sia in formazioni cameristiche che come solista.

After graduating Monica found a deep love for the sounds of various world and hybrid flutes that called her to New Age music. She co-founded the ensemble Phoenix Rising (along with Wendy Loomis) that has been nominated in the best Classical, New Age and Jazz categories by the Hollywood Music and Media Awards, the Los Angeles Music Awards, and the Independent Music Awards. Monica plays Briccialdi Zi-Flute.
